Viñas DeLuxe is on fire. Two weeks, two wins. The fan-favorite queen has officially cemented her place as the frontrunner of the season, serving back-to-back victories that prove she’s not just here to play, she’s here to dominate.

On the runway, Viñas owned it. Every detail screamed polish and personality, the kind of look that makes the judges lean in and the crowd gag. Despite being known as a campy queen, she proved she can also deliver high-fashion designs that balance humor and couture. On her original season, she already showed her skill by winning episode 2, where contestants created looks inspired by the Flores de Mayo celebration and Sagala pageantry. Her eye for materials and detail has always been sharp, and she brought that expertise to this all-star season once again. The result? Viñas earned a standing ovation from the judges.

Mini Challenge Highlights

The episode kicked off with the mini challenge Kep Kep, Boob-ay, a playful parody of the classic Wowowee segment Hep Hep Hooray. Brigiding won the mini challenge and took home twenty thousand pesos.

Main Challenge: Holy Cacao!

For the main challenge, the queens had to create eco-chic couture entirely from fossilized cacao leaves. This sustainable test pushed them to turn simple natural materials into high-fashion statements. Kitty Space impressed the judges with her smart use of the leaves. Some of the other queens felt that Suki Doll should have been in the top instead, citing her consistent and polished looks. However, the judges including guest judges Jervi Wrightson and Drag Race Thailand host Pangina Heals had the final say and chose Kitty Space alongside Viñas DeLuxe as the top two.

Lip Sync For Your Legacy

Viñas and Kitty Space faced off in a lip sync to Pangina Heals’ Winna Winna, which would determine the Maxi Challenge Winner of the week. Viñas slayed the lip sync with confidence and personality. Kitty gave a strong fight, but Viñas proved unstoppable. She won ₱80,000 and a year’s supply of Auro Chocolate. Her back-to-back victory solidified her status as the queen to beat this season.

Bottom Queens and Elimination

At the bottom were Arizona Brandy and Ivory Glaze. Arizona’s placement in the bottom was surprising. Some of the queens felt that Siam PhuSri might have been closer to the bottom than Arizona, as her runway could have been more cohesive. Still, the judges chose Arizona to be placed in the bottom alongside Ivory. In this episode, the winner of the maxi challenge also held the power to decide which bottom queen gets eliminated. Viñas chose Ivory, and sadly, she lost, becoming the third queen to sashay away this season. Her cheeky farewell message, “Great Aussie proverb, sh*t happens 💋”, left fans with a bittersweet moment.

Shortly after the episode aired, Ivory took to Instagram with a message to her supporters:

“💜 thank you for embracing me n supporting me even if im terrible at drag race 😅💜”

The post was met with love and support from fans and fellow queens alike, celebrating her personality and unique charm despite her early exit.

Overall Thoughts

Episode 3 confirmed Viñas DeLuxe as a strong competitor who can slay both fashion and performance challenges. Kitty Space proved she can rise as a wildcard at any moment. Suki Doll continues to impress with her consistent, polished looks. Arizona’s surprise placement in the bottom shows versatility, while Siam PhuSri still showed potential and can refine her runway strategy for future challenges.

With Viñas on fire, the competition is heating up. Episode 3 reminded everyone that no queen is safe, every runway counts, and surprises can happen when you least expect them. The race is on, and Viñas DeLuxe is leading it in style.
